First of all, Florence Tattoo Convention takes place in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Florence. A city that, beyond its history, is flooded with art. In addition, the festival is hosted at the impressive Fortezza da Basso, a 14th century fortress. In conjunction with all of the above, the Florence Tattoo Convention team has been working hard and with success, and has managed to earn the respect of the international tattoo community.
This year, Florence Tattoo Convention celebrated eleven years and attracted hundreds of tattoo artists from around the globe. Tattoo and tattooing were of course the centre of the festival, however fine art was also present, as well as burlesque shows, body painting, comedians and concerts. One of the highlights of the festival was certainly the presence of Lyle Tuttle, Gian Maurizio Fercioni and Gippi Rondinella, as well as Henk Schiffmacher, also known as Hanky Panky.
HeartbeatInk Tattoo Magazine has been collaborating with the popular festival for the second consecutive year and recorded its pulse.
