3rd Cyprus International Tattoo Convention

Extras - Issue 21

On Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April 2016, the team of HeartbeatInk Tattoo Magazine visited Cyprus and the beautiful town of Limassol for the 3rd Cyprus International Tattoo Convention, where we participated with our own stand.

This tattoo festival is successfully held for the third consecutive year and took place for the second year at the stone built and exquisite space of Carob Mill located in the old port of Limassol, which - from what I realized - is a central and touristic area of the city, with picturesque pedestrian streets and many restaurants and cafes. In terms of its location it reminded me the area of Monastiraki in Athens - well a bit cleaner.

The Cyprus International Tattoo Convention this year hosted artists from Cyprus, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, Argentina, Romania and Spain. The tattoo machines didn't stopped for a minute and even on Friday which customary is the most "relaxed" day of three-day tattoo conventions, the turnout was proportionally great.

Among the highlights of the festival was also the gig of Nightstalker who rocked it as usual, as well as the younger visitors and fans of convention who were absolutely adorable.

The 3rd Cyprus International Tattoo Convention managed to combine the beautiful environment and friendly atmosphere with professionalism, making this festival deservedly a serious overall organization.

We would like to thank the team of Cyprus International Tattoo Convention for the kind invitation and hospitality and the tattoo community of Cyprus for the warm welcome.
