Cooking is a job with a lot of stress and pressure. You are working through fires and with much fuss for several hours. You may need to work under such conditions for more than seventeen hours continuously. I think that all this thing considering tattoos comes from an American culture, with cooks from Mexico and citizens of the U.S.A also, in the '70s, that had " jail style " Old School tattoos. It was quite common at that time, after being released from prison to work as dishwashers in diners and then in time becoming cooks. Nowadays, there is a fashion that has nothing to do with what I have said. Tattoos for cooks are an "excuse " for the conditions that we work under, including pressure and many hours.
Besides being a cook, I am also the founder of maintanos.com. I had my first tattoo done when I was seventeen. I don't think I have so many tattoos, so as to “pick” one.
